Please let me know what are the good ones. Besides Anne Rice and Sunshine by Robin McKinley.

I heard from Kl Morgan that she is working on an original. :Hamster2:

*ears perk up* Vampire novels? Adult nature?

Sorry, the only really great vamp novels I know of at the moment are by Anne Rice, and you listed her already... :(

I'll ask around tomorrow... :)

the Silver Kiss by Annette Curtis Klause is ok - i heard rave reviews about it (though i wasnt that bothered about it personally) and her "Blood and Chocolate" - which is about werewolves not vampires - is a MUST read - it's one of my all time favourites.

if you like buffy at all - one of the spin off novels - "pretty maids all in a row" is awesome and features spike and dru in their heyday

Whoopsee sorry for the late reply people!

Yes it's of an adult nature, it's my own take of a vampires live - Not all grisly and pale-face like Christopher Lee oh no - my novel is smart and sexy and very deep. I just thought about how vampires make the transition from human to immortal; you hear the term inner demons right? wll what if vampires had the same problem but only it's their eroding humanity they deal with.

Anyway it's called Blood & Roses and should be on a shelf the moment an editor read it - Here's hoping anyway :)

Edit: spin-off novels? BUFFY HAS SPIN-OFF NOVELS - HOW WHEN WHAT WHERE AND WHY - any happy conclusions with her and spike; huh, huh????

Buffy has LOTS of spin off novels - written at various points in the series - you can get them in most bookshops!

I'm reading Dracula at the moment. It's actually really good. I didn't think I'd understand it because of the old language, but I do... GO ME!
